Services
The first step in our process is an initial consultation with the player. The goal of this meeting is to get to know the player as much as possible so that we can create an effective and implementable plan.

Player Development Meeting
Before starting our video and mentorship sessions, we will conduct a meeting centered around filling out a player development sheet. The player development sheet focuses on what the player's goals are both on and off the ice. By the end of the meeting, we will have a general introductory plan for developing the player as a hockey player and as a person.

Video

Engaging in video review of a player’s shifts is a crucial tool to help the player learn from their mistakes, talk through different ideas, and become more conscious of the pros and cons of their game. We offer a monthly video session that ranges from 30 to 60 minutes in length. In the session, we will break down the player’s shifts and intermingle relevant NHL/pro hockey clips as teaching points.

While we will prepare talking points and shift breakdowns beforehand, this process is very much collaborative. These video sessions will provide the player an opportunity to talk through any questions, concerns, or general ideas that they have regarding their play.

Mentorship Calls

Our mentorship calls offer players an opportunity to get guidance on academic or logistical issues. These calls will also be monthly and range from 30 to 60 minutes in length. The specific content of the calls will vary depending on what the player needs from us at that particular point in time. Examples of topics discussed include:
-
Professional Guidance: We can provide advice and guidance on building effective and actionable habits that help the player work towards being the best hockey player and person they can be.
-
Resume building and editing: This can be done on the mentorship call or simply through email, but we offer guidance in building a resume to put the player in an advantageous position for recruitment opportunities.
-
General strength and conditioning advice and nutritional advice: This advice will focus primarily on building and keeping proper habits to keep the player’s body in peak shape.
-
ACT and SAT guidance: We offer guidance on testing requirements and timelines and will help you and your family make a plan for how to navigate the standardized testing process.
-
Track academic requirements for D1 compliance
-
Assist with all aspects of the college application process

Player Advancement

Our staff will work to try and advance each player based on their goals. We can reach out to D1, junior, and travel team coaches to assist the player in finding a team to play for the current season and those in the future. We can also use our connections for tryout camps, junior hockey camps, national development camps, various spring and summer showcases, and D1 camps.
